Mary Jane made this tasty soup at my 6th annual art sale this year. It was a favorite at the show and is now a favorite in our home.
You will need:
4 chicken breast shredded
1 box Uncle Ben's wild rice
1 medium onion, chopped
1c. celery, chopped
2c. carrots, sliced
1 can cream of chicken soup
4c. chicken broth
2c. water
You can also add parsley, thyme, poultry seasoning, peas and mushrooms if desired.
Combine above ingredients and simmer until rice is fully cooked. Reduce heat and serve.
