Chocolate Chip Cookies- Jumbo Portion

SkillScale: 2 Thanks to Carolyn and Claire for sharing the recipe for the famous Borgia cookies! These are a crowd favorite. They feed a crowd (yield: 120 large ice cream scooper sized cookies) so, use a BIG bowl to mix the dough. Cream together: 4 cups butter 4 cups shortening Add: 6 cups sugar 6 cups brown sugar In separate bowl combine: 16 eggs 3 TBSP vanilla Add to creamed mixture Combine in separate bowl: 18 cups flour 2 TBSP + 2 tsp salt 2 TBSP + 2 tsp baking soda Gradually add to creamed mixture - do not over beat Add: heaping 8 cups of chocolate chips - mix gently just until combined.Bake in a convection oven @ 300 degrees till just right.
